Kids Sushi Party is brought to you by Junko Motoyama!
Born in Saga Prefecture, Japan, she has been a school teacher in Japan, London, and New York and is currently working as a head teacher at Peartree Preschool and also a museum educator at Bronx Children's Museum.
Since 2015, Junko has enjoyed teaching sushi classes to kids of all ages and is a huge hit with the elementary school children at Science Adventure Kids Summer Program in NYC.
She loves to see kids designing their own sushi rolls, digging into rice, picking their own ingredients, exercising their creativity, and having fun with it. It's a great way to explore their cognitive, fine motor, and sensory skills, and expand their social and cultural diversity.
